I'd offer $10 and a Rosetta Stone CD - for English.

Seriously! The seat is on backwards, the side covers are gone, he took the air box plenum off to mess with the carbs and there are people bidding on this listing. It's just wrong on so many levels. Judging by this listing my non running '83 has got to be worth around $3000!

.......and just what makes this pile "collectable" ?? It's too crappy and mechanically flawed to be a classic.

It will either be bought by someone from here, or it will end up here when the new owner joins up because he actually believes that he can assemble wreckage. I give it a month, all that junk ends up here eventually. This is where the VFR sewer is piped.

Then there will be a huge VFRW forum fight about it lasting for like a year.....and some dude from Michigan will tow it around on a trailer behind his bike, and Badbilly will piss off three fourths of the forum. Eventually the entire forum will split into factions over it, and reg71 will have to lock the thread and threaten to censor the forum .

Damn, maybe I should just buy it and take it to the junkyard myself.

mine wasn't much better, prob worse when I drug it home off CL but then again I'm not new to v4's. Unfortunately your prob right, some one that would have a hard time with a CB will end up with it and be asking where the other 2 spark plugs are or some thing like that.

you'd just quietly work on it and get it running and it would show up on here with before and after pics
