A positive Motorcycle Magazine review of the 6th Gen VFR.

Please note their are no burnouts, donuts or other squidly behavior, just a calm Video review of the currently sold 2010 gen 6 VFR and its features.

Sorry about getting the year wrong in the thread title, I had originally assumed it the Silver sold here in '07 / '08 then noted the current 2010 Silver has Gold Rims and black frame.

Dammit, I've suspected it was a good bike all along. Magazine readers get too caught up with fractions of a second and a little extra weight; extra weight that exists for a reason. These are the same people who couldn't possibly ride a VFR to it's full potential regardless, let alone a race bike with headlights.

I think so, VFRs are brilliant real world Sports bikes not racing machines. What I like about this Video review is the footage shows the kind of Country back roads I seek out when planning my 3 day rides South.

The VFR thrives on these kind of back roads where unexpected road bumps and ripples don't phase it and fuel stops are inconsistent. The other great thing is besides being comfortable on the way down it is still able to stay easily with Sportsbikes through the tight Alpine Mountain ranges.

The roads shown are down Victoria somewhere and haven't visited these as yet myself but are fairly typical of the Country back roads I enjoy, open country roads are good for the soul and not much better than VFR to ride them on.
