I know I saw something on this earlier but I couldn't find it again.

Seat lock didn't line up great so I shaved off some of the plastic on U-ring. Still won't go down far enough to click on. WD40'd the lock etc.

Any suggestions or will I need a new one? Its definitely not me.... 9th sportbike and all. Tried a ton of different ways. It was pretty distracting today on 150 mile ride popping up 3/4in. Great bike though!!!!!!!!!!!! SO happy I didn't buy Sprint.

    Thanks for any help.:help:
    Rich.

Thanks R.W.- I shaved 1/2 the extra plastic off and am going to wait until I talk to them tomorrow before I do any more. Mine seems like the U-ring isn't long enough or the lock is lining up with forward half of ring, not sure. Trying not to be frustrated!

    Thanks
    Rich

I really think it's all in the shaving of the plastic, I thought mine wasn't long enough before getting on this site and doing a little research, I left the sides of the plastic alone but took it down to metal on the bottom part of the U ring with a razor knife, and then it won't need that Jet Li open handed strike no more...

Dude I love your cat, and the Jet Li thing very clever. For quite awhile I was a Shotokan player so references to karate are always appreciated:yo:

I'm hoping after being on awhile it will marry up.
    Happy Sunday.
