Hey, somebody left a helmet up there next to your flower garden........unless maybe you've found a way to grow helmets.

LeMans. Luxurious brother to the Goat but basically same car. This one was pretty stock when I got it. Its totally stock with a Blue Block 350 single exhaust and a 2 barrel carb. I quickly put on twin stacks a huge spread bore Rochester carb of some sort that never did run right. Changed that off to an 850 Holley on top of a semi high rise Edelbrock manifold. I should have left the car stock.

I have been sort of keeping an eye on the car want adds looking for another one like it. They are out there but I am waiting for the right price. And gotta sell this house and find some place with more room. I want to restore a few cars when I retire which I can do right now if is so desire.

Maybe you'll run across my '68 Firebird 400 HO, 4-speed, 3:89 posi, AC delete that was stolen six months after I bought it new. I still keep an eye out for it (wishful thinking). I loved that car with a passion.

Due to a recent and hopefully temporary reversal of fortune, I've been tooling around in this baby. And, yes, that's me in the passenger seat.

4WD Chevy short bed here, I've no use for cars... too elaborate, too recumbent, too fragile, too hard to enter/exit... just TOO!

:tape2: (this rant's starting to sound like the women in my life!)

    Me, 2000 Tundra, 164K
    Wife 2010 Camry, 42K
Son#1 1987 Mr2 NA, First day he got it the clutch went out, he built the whole engine, runs great. Second for him is a 1991 Mr2 Turbo Intercooed, he needed 300 hp, ????
Son#2, has our old 1996 Camry, we bought it with 60k on it, he drives to school and work, orginal engine, not even a valve job, It just turned 424k

Yes I used to work for Toyota. I think the new american cars have really stepped up to the plate, might consider my next to be one of the big 3.

Almost forgot, I just picked up a 1966 Sunbeam Alpine for restoration.
