I used the Stealth Tail from Cyclemall. Universal product adn excellent quality. Fit right against my undertail and gave a super clean look. Priced at $50.00; much better than wahat Competition Werkes sells for $150.00

    Try Competition Werkes - http://www.competitionwerkes.com.

It's a clean look with good craftmanship, but I saw it on their website for $59.95. So, I would imagine you could get it for cheaper if you shop around.

Stealthtail is the way to go; I have one on my '99 Nighthawk and my RC30 replica.

I just installed the Competition Werkes fender eliminator on my 04. Very simple to install and really cleaned up the tail of the bike.

I have a 2000 VFR. I wanted to get a kit, but they all seem to require cutting. Is this truely the case?

    98 Fender eliminator

On my 98 I just removed everything and cut the rear fender clean with the tail and took a piece of straight atock aluminum and built a plate holder that mounted right to the rear under the tail light. Cost was $00.00.
