Hit 20K miles on my 2007 this week!

This week I finally hit 20K miles on my 2007 that I bought brand new in August of 2008!! I really didn't even ride for most of this year, and most of those miles were ridden through the end of 2009. Think how many I'd have if I rode as much this year as in the past. I think I have some catching up to do!!! Yes indeed I do!! arty2:eace::cheersaf::funky:

 

hey new person welcome to the world over here on the right we have the crazy people...on the left we have the forgetful people.....you should get together with some of theses fine folks and get up a ride...have you done any track days? what does your VFR look like we lke pictures here... so your in Vegas.. there used to be another chick on here from Vegas... maybe you gals could hook up together and do a ride or sumthin....

Congrats Chick, I think that 20K is a good amount of riding for a bike that's barely two years old. Keep it up! Hows the bike doing in terms of suspension wear, electrical, and valves?

 

Good on ya Chick. I crossed the 70K mile point about 2 weeks ago on my 06. Haven't had any concerns that were not self imposed. I did have to replace the timing chain adjusters a couple months back though. And the valves were shimmed I think twice. But they are predicting a bad winter here so I imagine my winter riding may be reduced somewhat.

 

right you are the crazy canuck that will ride in anything as well as anything.....say it aint so...are you gonna not ride all winter?

 

So long as there is no snow on the ground but we are expecting lots of that this year. And I have been caught in that too. Not nice at all I say. Motta o fact, it is bluty awful.

 

i'm right there with ya chick. i bought my 07 in september or 08, and logged 20k miles about a month ago. now get on that thing and ride it some more. good to hear from you.
