The metallic silver caught my eye and the V-4 engine sealed the deal .....

THe looks, the sound, the handleing

The looks of the bike caught my eye, the sound of the V4 got my attention, the handling of the bike makes me want to ride, the ergonomics inspire me to plan long distant trips. I really love this bike. I just wish summer would get here.

I checked the first box then the next one and found out you can only check one box?....... You are right RVFR not fair to only pick one. I like how you made your own. I had to pick the 5th Gen. though it has sweetest body lines and what about that metalic yellow color!! Sorry I am just partial to mine! But yet the sound is awsome at Idle and at 8000rpm and up to 11000.
Excellent riding position, The look of the single sided swing arm, dual head lamps, all the switch gear is in the right place, center stand, great wind protection even in the rain!..... Maybe it would be eaiser to ask what we don't like about our bikes!!!

What got me interested again was the sound, years ago there was 4th gen. in a street i lived in. Before i saw the bike all i heard was the sound, i thought it was a V8 with straight cut gears or a supercharger on it.
Went out one day when i heard the sound, it was BIKE!!

I know it's silly to buy a bike based on the sound it makes, but since the VFR suited me in many ways then the choice was easy.

I loved my 86 VFR700F2 for it's looks. it was and is a beautiful bike. 21 yrs old runs great still sounds better than my Stock (ffor Now) 6th gen. put it along side any new bike and you wouldn't believe it was 21. almost an antique but still young at heart.
the 6 th gen I still get wood looking at her she is beautiful and the performance is orders of magnitude better than the 700F2. she is quicker, faster, more stable at speed did I say FSAT!!?. I love both of them. even after unsolicited offers I still can't bring mysel to sell the 700. she's worth more to me than she is to the market. plus there is a bonus. while most of you Viffers own one I own and ride two. and remember, he who dies with most toys, wins. "happy new year to all and to all a good ride." a quote I read somewhere. (heh heh heh!)

I have a new 06, so i'm still learing the bike. but so far i like everything about it. But to me, the best things are the smallest. 1) air temp guage. 2) fuel guage 3) clock. the little details.

I chose the comfort. Just being able to ride good distances without crazy back pain. As for color, I went with a Matallic cobalt blue.

I ride the the 6th. Rode the 5th and almost bought one but in the end prefered the 6th. Each to his/her own poison.

favorite things about the vfr?! id say its a toss up between 3 things...

first, the history. the 2nd gen VFR is the coolest way ive seen anybody tell harley davidson to go get raped, and that they wont strongarm other bike makers into staying out of america!

second, the fact that the V4 is a rare motor. more often than not, we see all these inline 4's out there, and a whole ton of v-twins. i personally LOVE having something that not everybody has.

third, the sound. both my intake and exhaust are modified, and when i get that bike above 7k rpm and open the throttle all the way, it makes this angry roar that would scare a harley rider right off his 2 wheeled couch. i LOVE it!!!

Hard to choose my favorite trait, the combination of all make this the best bike out there.
    Looks...SEXY!
    Sound..Unique&bad assed with gutted pipes!
    SSSA..SSSEXY!
    Ergo's..Perfect for me
    Engine..Unique linear power!
Also I love the bike's uniqueness and the attention I get riding a fairly un-common,georgeous bike!
Alot of people approach and chat with me wondering what just what this bike is.....Of course I'm always more than happy to enlighten them!
