I picked up an 03 VFR and have been checking for mods to help low end torque and smoother VTEC trasition. A fellow VFR rider recommended the TurboCity Fuel Pressure Regulator. Checking if anyone has use this on their VFR. Also checking for airbox modification information for the 03 VTEC VFR.

Hey not saying this is better than a Power Commander. Low cost mod for those who do not want to use Power Comander - just checking if anyone is using one and what they think of it before I buy one.

You have got my attention. I could see how that could be a huge help. Would be really easy to install so I think you are the guinea pig on this one. Let us know.

Gotta admit that I've never heard of this fuel pressure regulator before Emon.
Didya click on the product review on that Turbo City web page?
Guy says he installed one on his '04 and it didn't do much for the bike.
Not trying to rain on your parade or nothing here, just wondering if you read that.

Yes I saw the review and also saw a review on another site that stated the FPR did wonders for a VFR below 5000rpm. That is why I was checking to see if anyone here has tired it. I still think is specs out nice so I may go in and try it.

Not that expensive of a mod and easy. Try it. Would love to have a gauge to watch the fuel pressure before and after.

the stock fuel map is very lean on the bottom end, and very rich up top, and pretty speratic in between...
if you get a fuel pressure regulator and up the fuel pressure, i would guess it would richen the air/fuel ratio everywhere right?
so the bike would be good on the bottom, but be even richer up top... killing top end.

The install is fairly easy, but like a lot of things, it is a pain to get to the work. That is what takes the time in this case.

I think so. ISTR reading several years ago something about their last remaining ST1300 stock being sold to someone else. Maybe they just got out of the M/C parts business, though?

    Ciao,
