87vfr700 body parts question

    I have a 1987 vfr700 and found some cheap parts off on 86 and didn't know if they would fit on my bike.

    most of the stuff is interchangeable.... the front fairing you need to be careful the guage clusters are different....86 they are round...87 they are not........ so your inner panels will not work if you mix that up...... anyway good luck.

    with the airtech stuff youll have to cut your own head light and drill holes,lemme know if you have any extras for sell!

    it seems like aside from ebay,it would be your only real choice.i think the cobalt racin fella has got the stuff too.i ve often toyed with the idea of restoring my old plastics while dressin it in something unusual or neat and vintage from the guys at airtech.then i feel dirty.
