1993 owners manual

I bought my 93 used and it did not come with an owners manual. I downloaded the 300pg service manual, but there are things I was looking for that were not in there, it mostly gave instructions on how to do major work on the bike not simple things such as what oil to put in, how much, what battery is used, etc.
is there a downloadable owners manual somewhere?

Sorry I don't actually have an answer to your question about an owners manual, but that info is in the service manual. I believe it would be in the front in the "specifications" section where it tells how much and every type of fluid in the thing.

 

Yep Mysta's got it. In my VTEC service manual, the very first section is "general information" and this is where you'll find amounts (ie 3.1 quarts of oil if i drain and swap filters). You will not find *what* to use and thats a great topic of debate. When it comes to something like oil, most people have their preferences, but will point you towards : Motorcycle Oil and Filters
