Getting a feel for a Poconos ride.

Romans lunch run....this Sunday....the 5th.

7:00am departure.

 

I want to be in but what about Earl, I will call you Saturday to let you know for sure. Who knows what damage will be left behind (fallen trees, soil washout on the roads, flooding).

 

Earl is going to stay far enough East, dino. Where I am in Morris county, all they are predicting is some rain for Friday. The track has changed, and I don't think it will interfere with any ride, especially in the Poconos/Port Jervis and surrounding areas, which is even further west then where I live. Yea, there might be some rain and some winds, but by Sunday this will be long gone for us.

Just commit, dino. Just commit...

And yes, I'm in.

Upper Delaware run - Google Maps


This could be an adventure. Come open minded. 4-4.5 hrs............I'll even let the cruisers come along.Lunch at Romans. Meet at 7:00 at the info center. Meet Seb at the Mobile 209 and 6 in Port Jervis at ....say 9:ish?

 

Looks like a nice loop Steve-O. And we get to break the law in NY, NJ and PA all in one day. That is, of course, for anyone that chooses to do so...

I would like to join this time. 7:00 am at the info center is too much for me. I will arrive at Mobil on Main Street before 9.

 

See you tomorrow irvfr (and everyone else). IRvfr - just making sure when you say "main street", you know that's in Port Jervis.

 

I just got home late. Yes, I guess it is the gas station at the intersection between Rts.6, 97 and 209 in Port Jervis.

Was a fun run, lunch was tasty - I'll have to go back again sometime a little later in the day to catch the actual BBQ selection. Didn't go back for seconds for fear of falling asleep on the way home...
