I suspect they spent more money on the advertising and disclaimers than they did on their product. Electronic Slick Fifty................and it's only $60.

 

I thought as much, So let me in on the joke guys, what exactly is Slick 50, don't think we have it here in Oz, but have seen the jokes on a few threads here, so can someone please fill me in.

 

Slick 50 is the wonder oil additive for the INSIDE of the engine, similar to WD40 for the OUTSIDE

there was an ad (cant find it) that showed them treating an engine with slick 50, then draining all of the oil and running it for some preposterous amount of time with no oil whatsoever. The claims were OTT like it ran cooler, made more HP and got better mileage following this treatment without oil than beforehand. It's a liquid turbocharger!

I had a small spray bottle of slick 50 that when given to me was almost empty. I used to use it on lots of stuff, it did get rid of squeaks, but never used it on any of my bicycle parts, now, I cant find the stuff.

well they are still in business Slick 50® - Car Care Products and just like dynabeads, I am sure you could find a loyal following and tons of testimonials...

but for me, there is an expression "my momma may have raised some ugly children, but she didn't raise any stupid ones"... my view is that quality oil and filters, changed regularly is a better bet than any cure-alls

 

say what you want but what do you think a power comander does.... adds more fuel
60 vs 300 some of those really do work.
