i hate to say it, but i backed up into my bike and it fell on top of some bricks, cracked the front plastic and windscreen, i also noticed that the guages are off center, the mirror is pointing way up in the air.

ill get pics soon if need be.

what exactly got bent and how do i debend it?

Put a turbo on the VFR so when you go 200 mph the bent fairing stays will get readjusted from the wind.

It sure didn't take you long to get back in full swing. I'm waiting for the "do you ride with your visor up or down' thread.

You probably just bent the stay, but you may also have damaged the lug on the front of the Frame that the stay bolts to. I did when I tucked the front end on mine I haven't figured out how to fix the frame but the Stay is just square steel tube easily banged into submission or replaced. Just make sure you get the right Year/Gen. They don't interchange.

I don't do things like that. But i did torque the oil drain plug so tight that I stripped the threads. $600.00 or so later no one would have known....if I hadn't told everyone. I got the same sympathy from NCB on that one too. But I still drank beer with him.

Gladly fix your frame for beers, would be nice if you had the broken section but no big deal if you do not. I am in north Sacramento.

why didnt you just get a bigger bolt and a tap? would have cost 20 bucks or so.

or an oil pan from a junk yard?
