Okay, my bad I was thinking you had the option to use CBR600F, CBR750F or CBR1000F rims. 'Hurricane' refers to all of these models...though I don't know the specific rim sizes offhand.

    Oh....my bad.

Yea...I meant CBR600F wheels. Apparently the front bolts right on. I dunnoh what the rear needs to install.

I'm definitely a fan of the aesthetics of the CBR600F rims. From what I've read, Honda took a bit of 'design inspiration' from Dymag on these, back in the day.

    A little 'magnesium' inspiration:

    Dymag Classic Three Spoke

These are very close to the aesthetics of the stock VF500F rims...

Side by Side VF500F and CBR600F:

Doubt I could afford them anyways.

The F wheels look more modern than the Dynamag and the VF500 wheels. IMO.

Yeah, the Dymags are a bit salty. Interesting to see the progression though: Dymag, VF500F, CBR600F.

I agree the CBR600F rims are very nicely designed.

A local colloquialism down in these parts - 'salty' means expensive...

    Oh I see.

Could get a bit confusing when talking about Pretzels, French Fries, or Peanuts

Unfortunately it won't. The 86-87 VFR's use the shortest shocks of any Honda so you won't find anything else that is a direct fit.

    Great!

You might want to get a buddy to help you set the sag properly for your weight.

    I think he means fairings.
I still need to put mine on to test that theory out.

"Without the lowers off" is kinda double negativish. It implies that the lowers are off and it translates, "It runs cooler with the lowers on". However, my squirrel is a little rusty.

On a more topical note, how about some updates on everything you are finding one the bike, what you have or are doing to it, etc? I am really curious and interested. I almost went that '86 route too and your VFR was one of the 3-4 that I was looking at.
