Getting a feel for a Poconos ride.

7AM... c u there. to anyone comming from NJ, im gonna stop at the rest stop in Columbia for some breakfast and gas beforehand. its like 5 min from the bridge

Me too. After I split off I was stopped at a light at the intersection of 519 and 206. Saw a yellow 5th Gen headed south on 206 that looked suspiciously like you but was hard to tell as he was really haul'n

^^^Everything is believable except the part about "haul'n", which is damn near impossible to do on Route 206 on a Sunday afternoon. In hindsight, if I hadn't lost track of time, I definitely would have gone through High Point and done 519 with you for my ride home. I happened to glance at the clock too late, so I just took 206 as it was the most direct route home.

 

Good to see everyone again. We're def going to have to start earlier or take shorter stops next time because traffic sucked! But all in all it was good to be out.

 

Good thing I didn't go with you guys. My battery finally gave up the ghost. It nice being down the road from the house instead of being in the Poconos!

I don't see why not. Not sure what we're doing yet probably hit the boardwalk since the house is at Seaside ("sleaze-side) I dont know who's going to be there yet.

That will be the two week anniversary of me being VFR-less.

What's everyone doing this weekend? The crummy weather is supposed to be outta here by tomorrow, no rain predicted, and temps in the low to mid 80's. Does it get much better than that?

 

Hey Mike, I am moving this weekend but I would rather be riding. Perhaps we can get something together for the 14th or the 15th by then I should be unpacked.

Hey, if we do ride on the 14th or 15th, I know my wife is in Puerto Rico that week, and my kids are already in FL until the end of the month. Could consider doing a ride and ending back at my house for some burgers and brews. Just a thought...
