Any idea what these mufflers/cans belong to?

    They are being offered with a 1986 VFR750F but the mounting brackets do not line up and they look like slips on. The VFR doesn't seem to have anywhere you can just slip these on to.

    Any ideas? Seem to be Wolf cans

    I obviously have no idea, but it does answer the question why the seller did not have them installed. I would continue to dig deep on this bike and buyer before making the purchase. It was deceiving of him to list that the exhaust was an extra if it doesn't fit.

    There were slip-ons made for the VFR, but you had to hack of your stock mufflers at a specific spot. I bought an extra set of mufflers that were trashed, so I didn't have to hack up my good ones when I installed some.

    So with that in mind, do they look like the mounting brackets line up with anything? Although when I first saw them, they reminded my of how my yoshimura slip-ons for the 1000R look (as far as where the mounting bracket is on the pipe).

    No.

    To fit a 2nd Gen VFR the mounting brackets would have to be attached to the Can....not the pipe.

    wellshit I would love them.....I mean put them on and make a stainless steel band to go around to match the mounting point...
