    Hi VFR World :)

I used to ride many years ago but only a 250. never took my test at the time.

Mid-life crisis has prompted me to take my test (whew.... passed). Now got myself a wonderful example of the VFR750F 1996 with only 10k miles on her.

Thoroughly enjoying my commute to work in Cambridge (UK) now :)

    Regards,
    James.

No need to convert we still use miles here in the UK :) It's the rest of those europeans that use silly units of measurement ;)

Well, as it is completely standard spec at the moment including the original mild steel exhaust, I guess I'd better save up for a stainless stell one ;)

Welcome aboard. Looks ready to do some touring. What is your commute like. Do you have speed cameras where you are. New York State is considering them.

    Hi Phil.
Commute takes from 35 to 50 minutes by car due to traffic which is very heavy at times, but only 25 - 30 mins by bike :)
Yes, we have speed cameras but luckily not on my commute route. I heard yesterday that due to budget cuts for our Local Authorities they may be scrapping a large number of our speed cameras so things are looking up ;)
I hope NY state authorities come to their senses. Speed cameras were removed from a place called Swindon a year ago and they claim the accident rate hasn't really changed.
    James.
