3rd to 4th Gen engine swap

is it possible to use a 3rd gen 90-93 750 engine in place of a sick 4th gen 94-97 or is there some SPECIFIC issue that prevents it?

 

looking at the service manual there is a 5lbs weight diff. between the early an late motors .....
What is that attributed too?

I love it when a moron joins a board and expects sugary butt kisses at the drop of a dime. Lets see.
