Nesba VIR 7/16-17/2010 Track day. Pics inside (56k go home)

Well this event was my first track day, and we ran the Full course on friday plus the patriot on saturday. Unfortantly we got rained out on saturday after 3 sessions. But there was 3 VFR's that attended and had an absolute blast through out the whole event.

Once again I had a great time, really nice to run against fellow VFRW members. As well as shoot the shit for 2 days.

But seriously guys, theres nothing better than track riding. Nesba offers a great community and a very controlled environment on the track.

I used to ride the mountains, country back roads, and now I have seen the light.

I will continue to keep smoking on my track-pipe.

9/11/10 Summit Point Main with NESBA. This time 2wheel'tone will not be permitted to poach my lines. I felt sorry for him given it was his first track day and let him follow me. He neglected to mention his 2 runoffs (only a foot with no consequences) at Patriot when he was in front of me.

LINE POACHERS WILL BE PROSECUTED TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW!

I took your line one time, you were slowing me down in the turns. I came in hot on that blind turn 2 times and touched 2 ft of grass twice. First time because I smoked you on the straight and you were slowing me down, 2nd time for going to fast. I will give it to you, full course and my first track day = you got the better of me. 2nd day on patriot I was smoking you in the turns. I saw the video's. I got the proof. Poaching isnt poaching when you brake to early.

2wheel, this is why beta will be bringing the Ducati. He wants that extra HP guarantee and better suspension so you can't keep up. Also, what NJMP-Thunderbolt is to me, Summit-Main is to him. It's a "home" track.

I know his bait and switch tricks.

But what beta needs for the ultimate bragging rights is he must slay the 7-11...better start sharing your banana cakes with him now:biggrin:

Well it's a good thing I didn't come down. I was seriously considering leaving Friday afternoon to play on Patriot. 3 sessions and rain is no bueno. Did they give a half day to everyone?
I had several friends running Full on Friday. One was a girl on a red Ninja 650R in the big B with y'all.
Glad everyone had a good time. Sounds like there was some friendly dicing which is the biggest thrill at trackdays.

 

they only give credits if a tire never touches the track. So it was a bust.
