    You mean all of Hollywood isn't pouring out in support of the gulf folks like the bleeding hearts do for any tragedy that happens elsewhere? If this would have happened somewhere else, the gossip hounds would be tripping over themselves to put together a benefit.

    As am I brother Dan, for a number of reasons.




    Rest assured Tink, if this had occurred in the the Santa Barbara Channel or the south of France, it would be a whole 'nother ball game. Since it only happened in the Redneck Riviera its a bit lower key, though I did hear Kevin Costner had weighed in with his two cents. I love the guy, great movies, and who knows, maybe he's on to something, but he probably has the same chance of getting his idea implemented as I would if I went down there.

    Why don't they just put a wedding ring on this oil leak? As soon as I put one on my wife's finger, she stopped putting out.
