    I completed the brake and light inspection today and have one step left to complete my registration process.
    That last step is the CHP inspection. I hope I do not get a chopper hater.

    good luck with the inspection..

    nicely done BTW...... you should take pictures of the Inspection. and tell them its for a new show called "choppered" and the premis is you take a crotch rocket and turn it into a chopper and then give it back to the owner....

    LOL!!!!!! I would like to see the look on the face of the owner right?
    Well in this case I took a sport bike engine out of a junk yard in Ohio, and gave it a new life in California.

    That reminds me, the CHP is probably going to want a receipt for the motor, maybe they told you that already. Mr. no-humor CHP sent me away when I couldn't produce a separate receipt for the engine I bought from a Florida wrecker, I had come back later after I dug it up.

    I have that receipt for the engine.
    I also have receipts for EVERYTHING on the bike.
