Does the fuel pump prime when you turn it on? All lights working? Turn over at all?

I always kill the bike with the kickstand in first since I have a fear of it sitting in neutral and rolling forward, off the kickstand. Every once in a while I'll kill it with the switch, and forget the switch is "OFF" and wonder why it won't turn over....

Sorry to hear about the gremlins. Did you check your kickstand "kill switch", since that was the last thing you used before the problem?

New battery can't hurt. At 7 years old, I'd feel better about replacing it. But if you break down while we're out riding, I'll sit on the bike and you push me. Friends are here to help!

Yep yep... bike primes and lights on, starts to kick over n blacks out. I also usually kill with the kickstand because i've had switches wear out on other bikes. Not that i think im going to wear it out but if the kick stand is going down anyways whats the point. Plus I always leave it in gear when i park to keep from rolling. That particular time i wanted the bike to stay on so i could ride it into the garage after i opened it but oh well.

Holy poop nuggets yuasa batteries are expensive. like 170. looks like im getting the best knockoff i can find.

    +1
Walmart or similar should even sell the "permanent" installation pigtails to put onto the battery, then you can route the plug end somewhere convenient and discrete so you don't have to take the seat off to charge it.

The Deltran unit comes with one set of pig-tails for the bike battery.

Yes it does I meant for anything else you can get them separately... for instance I have one battery tender pigtails on both bikes. So whichever I'm not riding I'll throw the charger on ... which, unfortunately I think you know which one that is :tape: :tape:

Sorry Pil.....actually the only reason I ride with you is cause you bring extra smokes. The only reason Ed likes to ride with you is cause you make him look fast.

Just for that I quit smoking. Now I'm only doing shots when we stop.

I'll have you know that on our last ride, I only lost site of you about half a dozen times - not including when I got stuck behind the cage due to your, umm... somewhat illegal passing move. Normally I spend more time in the day seeing you than NOT seeing you. Now that I think about it, that's not so bad. Time to slow down again.

As for the 19th - of course I want to go. But I think that was the day the boys from VT and CT were heading over to bear mountain? It would be nice to meet a few new people, but I guess if we're scheduled for the 19th, then the 19th it is.

.................................jeezus that is Saturday isn't it...........this was suppose to stop happening with the new meds.......dam.So now I'm not good enough for you. You've decided you want to branch out. But why?

Well let's see if we can do both. It's two hours up to Seb's from Bear Mt. And if midlife is free to lead the way we could squeeze in both meeting new people and a burger in the same day. I know Randy will be up for it.

So here's the grand question.....what time are the boys from new england gonna' try to meet at Bear and do they care to follow us around the kittyskills for the afternoon.
