Are you telling me that you built that by yourself in your garage and in the last 6 days it went from a tack welded frame to a painted, pinstriped and running motorcycle?

That is either a worlds record or severe time lapsed photography. I love it! Super cool work!

I for one would like a thread showing us some of your sculpture and maybe talking a little about it. I appreciate art in most forms. Even some of the things at MOMA I appreciate even if I don't "get" it.

Sorry for the misunderstanding. The motorcycle was built over a one year period not including the tube bender.

Let me just say a little about "not getting it". Before modern art or "abstract" art when people looked at paintings they would have to know the culture of a country like childhood stories and customs etc., to"get it". But after Jackson Pollack and his "abstract" paintings the art was not connected to a regions culture ,childhood stories or customs. The artwork was just about itself. Otherwise It was just about what you were looking at. Just the colors , the shapes, or something about the world we live in.
So everyone is free to enjoy the art no matter where they grew up or what culture they come from.

So when you do get to see art, just enjoy the colors ,shapes etc., just like when you look at a motorcycle or car. It is just about what you see nothing else.
That is why we need public sculpture, so not just the gallery goers get to see it. The public should be able to see art where ever they go .

It is called a special construction. I am through with the DMV and now all that is left is a visit to the CHP for a final inspection, and they issue a VIN number.

I have two weeks left on a temporary operating permit.

Donald. Holy crap. That is superb. I am speechless. I remember asking for project pics from you not to long ago, and getting those pics amazed me. I had no I idea you were this close to the end. Thanks dude. I think we are all holding our collective breath til you post pics of the first ride.Big strong bike with a vfr powerplant. Not the same kind of ride as our sport touring bike, but it has the same heart. I will stay subscribed.
    Kudos!
