hi everyone! im buying my 1st vfr this weekend and i have 2 choices, both 5th gen, 1st is $2850 99 and have 25000 miles, no mods never been dropped, minor scratches from trailering. 2nd is $3350 98, only 17000 miles, double bubble windsheild, throttle meister cruise control. dale walkers holeshot slip-on never been drop, near perfect body, meticulously taken cared off.

the question is, is the difference between the condition of the 2 bikes worth the money? or should i just go with the cheaper one and be just as happy? i have no experience with this bikes, only with vtr which my brother used to have.

For the difference of only $500, I would say the second choice is worth it.

    KC-10 FE out...

For the first bike, you need to deduct for the extra mileage and scratches. My decision would be based on the physical appearance of both bikes in person as well as my "interview" with the owner. I'd try to find out as much history about each bike as you can. The more the better. That would be the main basis for any decision that I would make. Let us know what you decide.

First one, but offer him $2700. cash. The difference of 17k and 25k is nothing. The fact that its stock is a good thing, in that he may not have worked it too hard.

Also look at other things, like do they need tires?($300.) Either have a shock?
