Glad to hear the trip is smooth. Looking forward to seeing you again. Yard work is mostly done, but have a work gang of teens that can be remanded to the custody of the UFRR and utilized in whatever way you deem necessary.

Rain due to start here today. Possibility of snow over the next few nights. Yes, :smow:
Friday keeps saying "chance" of scattered showers, so I might get out dry.
If it snows the night before...I'll ride slower.

Was raining earleir on Grants Pass and the skies look like sheat but that's life. Like I don't know what it's like to ride in the rain. So just packing up and I am off. If it doesn't look like I will arive at a reasonable hour, I will book another room Reg. Otherwise I will see you probably tonight. So its off to rotten Ronnies for a egg sammy and on the road.

    Hi all,
I regret to inform you that I will not be attending this year. It has been a difficult decision but, I have been out of work since Feb. 1 and unemployement payments only go so far. I do have a couple small income streams besides that and I have an opportunity to make a few bucks this weekend, so I have opted to stay home and make a little money to help pay the bills. I will be there in spirit and I'll try to get in on the live feed to watch you guys if I can. Hopefully next year will be a better year and I'll make it out there then. Have a great time guys and ride safe, getting there, while there and from there.

The new weather report for the BBQ shows NO RAIN this entire week in the central valley!!! the rain is staying north in the Bay Area (San Francisco) and it's only going to be light at best. People coming from the North may run into a little of the wet stuff on Thursday but Friday on is clear! :party2:

Yeah Marrib. Little snag Tuesday morning that set me back a bit. I will explain when I see you. But since our original plans to meet up fell though, I considered slabbing the I-5 all the way. Stopped and discussed this with Jay (RVFR) who suggested getting to Grant's Pass that night, then cutting crosss the 199 to the PCH 101 at Crescent City. So that's what I did. Jay said the ocean views are stunning and I would not want to miss this.

Well Jay you were right. They were fuggen stunning alright:

If you are a storm watcher.

So today was a short day. Grant's Pass along the 199 to Crescent City on the 101, then only as far as Eureka Ca. I had to take the liner out of my helmet, and my gloves to the laudromat to dry them out. They got absolutely soaked. An almost downpour all the way. That Redwood Forrest would have been nice to stop for some Photo ops, but no friggen way I was stopping in that down pour. One guy in an SUV did stop there though. Right tight up against some rocks I think. Not too bad though.

Well seeing as it was an early day off the raod today, maybe I can get a real early start int he morning. Think it is supposed to rain tomorrow too. My ass has become so water tight I can't even expell flactulance.

Once you get another 50 miles South of Eureka you'll be past the rain for today Randy. The Bay Area is dry for now and the rain is not supposed to pick up again until later this evening into tomorrow. Friday is spotty but should be clear of any rain! Safe journey!
