Looking to put one on my RWB, to get rid of that big hunk of plastic in back. I've found a few. Anybody know which kits work best? I need one where I can install the license plate light. Thanks in advance!

Thank you  I did see that one, my only concern, and after reading a few reviews, is that the plate won't fit between the pipes... Although I'm sure I could make it work somehow.

It'll fit perfectly with no tweaking needed, right between the stock cans. Even easier between aftermarkets.

It depends on what state you're in. Some states do have plates that are wider than others. My NY plate just fit between the stock pipes with the Competition Werkes kit. You'll have to measure to be sure.

Yeah I dunno, I'm eyeballing it and it doesn't... I will have to measure.

The plate will sit back 5 to 6 inches from the rear of the exhaust, so you'll want to measure there.

I assume no hard cases can be used with this eliminator?

I don't have the hard bags on mine, but from what I understand, you do need to use the stock rear fender. Hopefully someone who has the hard bags can confirm that.

I have in interest in hard bags but I'll probably just opt for a trunk sometime in the future.

Got mine but haven't installed yet.

    So far:

Pros : Clean appearance, very good customer service.

Cons: Pricey for a thin stamped piece of SS bent in a brake. Will lose my saddle bag rear anchor point.

Note 02-06 VFR part will fit 02-08 per customer service.

    Point

You can also try my No Cost Fender Delete, works well for me.. it might not be as cool as having a brand name one that you can brag about but its functionable and I been riding my bike with no problems since.

Just did it, easy and looks great! I just discarded the rubber washer plugs and it fit just fine. This saved me $50 :D

EDIT: I should note that I did not need more bolts or washers, everything worked just fine with original hardware.

No offense Otter, but bragging isn't what most of us had in mind. I think it has more to do with the $50 CW part looking better than does the no cost.

Doesn't look any better to me *shrug* and I'm not to worried about the fancy looks of my liscense plate holder as long as it works and looks clean, which my mod does cause its just a license plate holder. If you want total show or like added benifits by all means go buy an aftermarket one. Mine just works for me and like minded ppl.
Cides the bragging part was a joke, don't get your forks twisted up over it.
