Jetsrus.com might have what you need, I just got some for my old CB550 and they were like $7.50 apiece, genuine Keihin.

Maybe i am old fashioned but I would not pay that much for a mainjet.
They are sold on Ebay for $3.50 each. That is about what they are worth.

I just got 4 pilot jets which are much more complex to machine, for $5.50 each from Factory Pro in San Rafael, California.

If anyone is paying $7.50 for ONE main jet they are getting ripped off.

Just so you don't think I am a cheapskate you can get mainjets for $7.50 for a FOUR PACK at http://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl...?q=keihin+main+jet&um=1&hl=en&sa=N&tbs=isch:1

For those that do not know what we are talking about here is a photo of the part.
It is about 1/4 inch high.

Maybe it has to do with their availability the number produced. The bike in question is over 30 years old so they probably don't sell as many. Factory pro didn't have any, I just checked.

Those jets are the same as they were when I had my first job in a motorcycle shop in 1968. Still the same.
    Simple fool proof.

Now the new fuel injected bikes have very expensive parts. Lots of expensive parts.

Engines are the same, they need fuel and it has to come through a hole.

Any way I just thought that if a forum member had left over jets,
I would rather buy them from a forum member than Ebay.

If you have #128'S I was told that would be the next step larger.

Hey Donald, I'm pretty 'old fashioned' too, looking for some mains and pilot jets at a decent price. ;)

Those KEIHIN-STYLE SLOT HEAD (KJ PREFIX) mains you linked to from the phatperformanceparts website are the correct style for the vf1000? Are they cheaper from Factory Pro and are those mains the 393 or 357 series?

Are the pilot jets the Keihin 21 series? I don't see a way to order them on the FactoryPro website, I guess you have to call?

Main jets are common parts and any dealership should have piles of them. If not they can order what you need. Considering how cheap they are it's almost not worth the price of shipping.

You can order directly from Factory Pro in San Rafael,CA.
    The telephone number is 1-415-491-5920
    They charge $4.95 each.
They send them to you in the US Mail and you get them in one or two days.
But $4.95 is the most I will pay.

As far as the part Numbers it is a big game. Every vendor has their own numbers.
I have seen them for sale for $2.99 each.

Many, many motorcycles with Keihin carbs use the same main jets.
In the round style, there are the small ones and big ones.
Did you down load that list of all the motorcycles and BRANDS that use the same float needle for Keihin carbs that I posted?

You have a good honest DEALER sir!!

The HONDA dealer in Santa Rosa Ca, wanted $26.00 for ONE ....ONE float needle!!!

But you know the families that own those dealerships can charge what they want and SELL what they want.

That same dealer that I just mentioned did not even have spark plugs for my bike.
I had to down the street to Kragen Auto store and buy them.

    They just don't care.

But they got FLUFFF , key fobs, hats, jackets, flags, videos, cans of spray on wax, crap etc.,.

Float needles OR jets? they have jets of all kinds.

They may not have float needles, but they should since they do DYNO work.
    Just my opinion.

BTW ....A lot of these business are hoping all the older bikes would just go away. They just want to plug in a laptop computer and get $300 bucks from you. Modern fuel injection system is electronic controlled.

I bought a Dynojet kit and there was not much in it and for the Kawasaki 1500 I could not use the needles supplied.
So what you really are getting for over a hundred dollars is the coupon that comes with the little kit.
When you get that kit you go to a dyno shop and take your coupon and then they say if they have to do ANY adjustments it can cost up to $300. dollars!!!

So the dyno machines are on some kind of program to take in all the people that bought all those kits.

There are MANY HONDA 750's still on the road. That must make the dealers upset.

They want you to buy a $9000-20,000 dollar bike on payments with high interest and get all that money for doing no work.
I do not like people that MAKE NOTHING and,DO NO WORK and bring home all that money.

In the AUTO world right now you can buy several different brands of cars with NO INTEREST and 5 or 6 years to pay!!!!!

I think it is good to fix things and take care of old things within reason.

Fastbroshi's just trying to help. I don't think its worth your time and effort in finding jets at prices lower than the ones posted. Also, why it is just a simple brass jet, many people are willing to pay more for a Keihin replacement, or atleast prefer a Keihin part on their Keihin carb over a no name.

Every single dollar counts these days to me and my family !!!

I did not know that a Keihin Brand jet was that important. Do they sell T shirts?

I also appreciate any help that forum members give me. Sincerely.
Fastbroshi is telling me what he knows and I appreciate that.
