Sorry if I'm putting these WTB requests in the wrong place. The "classifieds" section doesn't really seem to be geared toward WTB requests.

I need a lower (front) cowl for a 2000. This is the black cowl that goes over the exhaust pipes behind the front wheel. Clip from the parts diagram below. PM with what you have, condition, and price.

    Thanks!

Hi Cebu. Other than Bike Bandit having vastly superior image scans of the line art I'm not sure what you wanted me to check out on that page. Their price ($96.72) is terrible (HDL Parts has it for $79.51). Since it is a rather inconspicuous part, I don't need a pristine new one, I just need one that hasn't been screwed up by by some creative moron with a dremel tool (like the one that's on my wife's bike right now). I figure if someone is parting out a VFR that shouldn't be a real high dollar part. I see a 2000 VFR being parted out in the Classifieds section right now, but given how far into the fairing the front wheel is mashed I'm pretty sure the lower cowl didn't survive.

My apologies if I missed the intent of your post -- I haven't gone to bed yet and am a little sleepy and not so sharp right now.

Thanks - will do. Hers isn't in horrible shape, so it's not urgent. I'd imagine that most bikes that are wrecked, this piece is probably wrecked too, so it may be some time before a used one shows up.
