I think we might get more interest when it gets closer and the SNOW is gone. I have 2 friends with VFR's and they are interested also so maybe we can push the number of riders up to about 7 or 8 LOL

I put down Virginia, but anywhere is good. Once we come up with a State, I can get Hotel information for the area we are looking into. I'm good at that...
former employment has me tuned up.

My services are available. I will need one contact person from the site, after date & place is confirmed.

The First State has some of the best roads I've ridden on yet and if Delaware is too small, there are miles of smiles in south eastern Pennsylvania.

Newark, DE is a small college town and is nearly empty during the summer when all the University kiddies are gone.

How cool would it be to fill the Lewes --> Cape May Ferry boat with a bunch of V4 powah !!! then loop up thru Southern Jersey back.

Ah, whatever.... I'm game if the meet is a reasonable ride from here. I'm full of ideas, but too busy to plan a whole event.

Hey Guys, since NC is in the lead there is gonna be a Honda Sport Touring Association Star Event in Asheville, NC on June 24-27 - Check the link for additional information http://www.ridehsta.com/star/2007.

The other thing is what type of gathering is this gonna be - tame and touring with camping or wild and crazy with camping?

If it turns out to be NC, the Asheville area is great. Plenty of good riding, good food , and things to do. My wife and I love asheville and always have a great time when we're there. It's also close to deals gap and some of the best riding in the U.S. There is also plenty of lodging choices.

Seem that NC is the spot that is in the lead. I have been in touch with the President of HSTA as in Emon07's post above. They have a HUGE event in June 2007 in Asheville NC for about 4 days called STAR2007. Camping is right up the road from the Hotel accomodations. It is an AMA sanctioned event. Please post or email me direct to let me know your feelings about this. There are some TERRIFIC riding in that area and they will provide us with routes, food, seminars, contests, poker run, and a bunch more. There will be a registration fee, but VFRworld will also include an event pin and patch just for VFRworld members. This group is pretty awesome. Check out the site.

Well Joe. After talking with you the other evening, I think we may be on to something. Stay in touch. Hopefully we will have a decent turnout.

    Anyone from New England interested...
NC might be a bit of a stretch, but let's keep some dialogue open. Depending on when and where, perhaps we can get a convoy going....

I'm an hour from the Maine/New Brunswick Canada border so N.C. is a possibilty if the boss OKs it,would probably have to give up Laconia but thats no big deal.I'll have to keep a eye on this thread.

Hi All, I've been lurking this thread for a bit and I haven't seen mention of W. Virginia - Anyone interested in meeting/riding in WV ? It's LOADED with great roads, and lots less traffic. Check out the local riders site:
    http://www.wvsporttouring.com/videos.htm

I'm in MA so WV is a 2 day trip (or one VERY long day).

W VA does have some great rides, I would definetly be in for that. Plus thats a little close N. Carolina is a bit far for me, since I can't take too many days off work.

You know a Barber VFR meet sounds pretty good. (just as long is not in the dead heat of summer!) Something around a race date and maybe we get a track day! Invide the VFRD crowd too. OK I'm guilty - I look at both sites.
    How many takers for that?

(Michael set up a click on poll?)
