I'm not posting this under classifieds because I am not the seller. I'm just trying to share the love and see if any other officionado's of wonderful V4 goodness might be interested. If you aren't in the know, the RVF400 is a awesome little screamer, and will teach you what a real bike should handle like. For the price, let's just say it's what I paid just to get mine street legal in the states- not not including what I paid to buy it and ship it. The best part about the deal is that it's California titled and registered for the street- which alone makes it worth the money...

Well, I'm just really feeling the waters here, but this is what I've
got. I rarely ride the bike anymore due to racing, work and new
hobbies. My NC35 is the later version, different color bodywork, and
    is a 1999 or 2000, but that isn't really important. I have about 32.5k
Kms on the bike. I was a Honda certified mechanic at Thousand Oaks HRC
Honda/Suzuki and can assure you that no expense was spared in taking
care of my bike. I am basically the only owner of this bike as well as
I got it with about 1200 Kms back in about 2000/2001. Always
maintained to perfection and well cared for. New clutch and valve
adjustment last year and tires are good. I think that front brake pads
are about 50%, but other than that, the bike is in excellent
condition. For anyone that is truly interested, I can provide pics.
The 2 Bros Exhaust is carbon fiber and has about 1000 miles on it. I
put an Ohlins shock on it a few years back and that made a HUGE
difference. It also has an HRC CDI that revs another 1000 rpm. It's
been in sitting in the garage for awhile, but I start it up often and
put around a little bit each month or two. This is an amazing bike in
great shape for only $6500 obo.

Also worth a note is that it is titled, registered and licensed in
California. That is no easy feat these days.

    Thanks,

    Joel

This was posted on the Yahoo Group "Motorcycle Lane" and you contact the seller there. if you have issues contact me and I'll pass your info along.

If you do ever buy one let me know, I will share all that I know on the wonderful little gem.

    Anthony

Hi Anthony. I bought this bike this week. I'm having it shipped to me in the next week or so. I'd like to get some aftermarket bodywork for it so I can save the oem pieces, and I see there are lots of people in China selling what looks like gorgeous bodywork on ebay. I see the feedback is mostly excellent on the quality. My question is, have you seen this for yourself? Do you know anything about it? How good it is and such? Thanks.

copy and paste the above link to your browser to get loads of good info, but keep in mind it is based in the UK. there's not much in the way in the U.S. for aftermarket or even OEM parts. use the above link to determine what you want to do, just keep in mind the shipping costs...

That was not partof today's time management plan... thanks :)

If you do find something you'd like in the U.K., or Japan, you may be able to get some help from a VFRworld member to get it purchased in country and then shipped. PayPal makes that easy. Have you talked to Eastern Beaver about making you a wiring harness? He may, or may not be interested.

Thanks, but I have a few buds in the UK helping me already. I don't need a custom harness as I already have that... which is the oem one that I put back together... I'm looking for an uncut oem one.

And I didn't tell you to read the thread while at work. That's your fault! lol!!!!! :)
