Vfrworld 2010 southeast g2g

the g2g officially doesn't even start until Mon the 31st. I hope no one gets confused with the heading on the events calendar which lists it from the 30 to the 3rd. How did that happen?The g2g is officially the first week in June.

 

Well there is quite a bit of useless banter in this thread. That was one of the reasons we created the second thread. The first one was for chit chat.

So I'm wondering, for the actual event are we going to have to fall into single or double line?

To ensure that we VFR owners don't leave a bad taste at Kickstand lodge will we be able to pay for meals and etc all with a credit card? I don't like lugging a ton of cash around but I'll sacrifice.

 

I plan on bringing a little cash for things like this. just enough for myself though. and slow group? sign me up. I'm still scared of this thing!

been in touch with Mo @ KSL she said "cash is king" for just about everything there. She said her machine's been known to eat plastic so come prepared.

 

Whats the weather looking like the first week in June? I think someone posted that it was going to rain that week. Anyone know?

Well, this far out...the weather is impossible to predict. any forecast beyond the next 3-4 days is sheer speculation. But hey, plan on coming!

 

she'll take a check as well. i think the cc companies get (take!) 6-8 % or something like that (f*cking thieves! :sad. like dan said, 'cash is king' but checks are cool too :thumbsup:. if you don't bring your entire check book, at least bring 2 or 3 extra checks so in case you f*ck up writing the first one, you've back up~!

 

no one knows! to think that the weather folks can predict what's gonna happen that far in advance in ridiculous. even they know this!
i've been in the area when they say 40-50% chance of rain and still got in several hours of 'good' riding. 50-60% and i'm considering staying put but anything less than that, i'm on me bike! we've several routes so we'll just pay attention to where the 'shite' weather is headed and avoid it ray:. easy peasy just bring your rain gear.
at any rate...riding in wet weather :rain: makes one a better rider (a quote from a seattle rider!).
