I wonder whats going on with getting float needles.
I have tried to order and waited a month with no results.
Some Honda dealers but not all say you have to buy the needle and seat complete assy.
Some charge 44.95 for ONE float needle and seat!!!!
Some Suzuki's (new ones) use the SAME float needle and they charge $91.00 for ONE float needle.
But you have to wait. and HONDA of North America does not have any.

Keihen carbs use hitachi float needles. SAVE AND COPY THIS VALUABLE LIST
All these bikes use that same float needle!!!!!

Honda Kawasaki Suzuki Yamaha all use the same float needle as the Honda VF1000F,VF1000R,V65 Sabre,

Yamaha YZF600RG, YZF600RGC~YZF600RS, YZF600RSC (95-04) Float Needle. (SOLD EACH)

And all these bikes use this SAME float needle but yet there are none available!!! I think they want to force us to buy a new motorcycle or the US government wants us to not fix older motorcycles for clean air rules and make us buy only new motorcycles.

    Really weird.

no...not that wierd, emission standards are there for a reason...get the old crap off the road...If you can't afford a new car, there is always public transporttation....
not really my thinking , seeings how california "screwed" me out of a really good running truck that could'n t meet the emissions standards in the state....it passed in AZ. I sold it to the state for a grand. The said they were going to crush it instead of selling the parts..talk about a waste of money..I'm sure they could have made some of thier money back selling parts off of it ..
But anyway , its all about getting the old "garbage" off of the road.

    Good one kevin.
Donald, can you get it aftermarket? Is that a no-no?
I am just thinking with that huge list that you provided us, if you shop around ebay, bikebandit, etc etc, even if someones needle isnt in stock, they could try another year/make/model and maybe have positive results? I am only speculating here.
There was a v45 thread a long time ago that listed interchangable parts that proved to save me time and money.
When I reworked my cooling system on my 1st gen, I used a toyata celica t-stat, a honda accord temp sensor, and a switch ( I dont remember what it came off of ).
Long story short, it saved me money, but more importantly al those parts ( that I got from a thread on here, just like yours ) were in stock at the local autoparts store. I was able to make my bike's overheating problem go away for less then 50$ and replaced all the other maintanence important's in that same budget.
I stuck with honda coolant tho.
Anyways I hope your list proves valuable in the same way for others, as well as for you.
    thanks.

Yes I have used auto store oil pressure sending units and things like that.
Once I find out where I can get these Hitachi float needles for the Keihin carbs I will let all the forum members know.

And yes....if I could I would just go out today and buy myself a brand new motorcycle, but I did not get the Lee Iococa platinum retirment package.

I don't understand the possible link to government?

The government can't stop a private retailer from selling a legal product. Hell, the government wants people to stop smoking and can't stop 7-11 from selling cigarettes. In my mind, there's clearly another reason why these parts are difficult to obtain.

vfourbear has a really good and inexpensive tin foil hat kit thread, guys.
I would find it and post the link, but I don't want "them" to see me searching for it. It may tip "them" off.
Speaking of conspiracy shiet, its my day off, what am I doing on here? I have a "lost" marathon to catch up on.

Sadly, by todays emiisions standards it would be. Same as my gone, but not forgotten 1970 roadrunner and my 1970 lemans sport to gto conversion.
one mans classic is governments "garbage".
Thats why walmart doesnt give you bags for your groceries anymore. instead, they sell you bags that you are suppose to re use on your next visit.
I am not stating my view either way on this "go green" thing. Just pointing out whats going on in the world around us.

That is the company I had trouble with. I ordered 4 of those and it said 5-7 business days. Just the needles ship in 1-2 business days it says.Weird and also not possible.
On the 7th day I emailed and asked if the parts shipped, and I got an email saying they would ship that after noon.
    I waited another week....nothing.
So I had been waiting from the 16th of April until the 27th of april and then I was finally able
to get someone on the phone. The guy said he would check and went off the phone for a long time.
Finally after are you there he answered and went away again and after a while he came back and said they would ship them on April 28th .
Well that means i would not get them for another week and that would have made a month so I cancelled my order.
About an hour later (to their credit )he did send be confirmation my money had been credited back to my account.
Now I have to go to my bank and find out if I really did get the money back.
