I have been riding motorcycles for about 3 years now and have been drooling over VFRs as my dream motorcycle for about 2. Perfect blend of sport and touring. Well I have been looking for a white one in my area for 2 years (Seattle). A friend finally located one at a local dealership and I had to go down there first thing next morning and get it. I am so psyched to finally be a VFR owner. Got a white 2006, with the hard bags, immaculately clean, and only 4500 miles. Weaseled the dealer down to 6200 (which I think is a steal). Dream come true. (The red bike next to mine is a co-worker who just got a great deal on a 2007 VFR).

Welcome, Byrds! I think you'll love having the hard cases if you do any touring.

I haven't heard about the northwest rally but I am definitely interested. Where can I find info? And yeah the hard cases are amazing, they make commuting to work just that much simpler, can't wait to tour with them. Thanks for the warm welcomes.

Hey, you stole my pictures! Grats again on the bike, I loved seeing them parked side by side yesterday.

We, well I don't know about him so much, but I was never normal to begin with so I'll fit in just fine.

Wow! I thought it was just me. I did the exact same thing. Been in Honda forums for a while reading about the VFR and wanting to upgrade to my dream bike too. (from my CBR600) I made the purchase of an '08 VFR last weekend. Only been 4 days, but I love it!

Congrats Tater, welcome to a new and exciting world. I just got my first 600 mile service done, expensive but I hear that it needs to be done to keep the warranty. I look forward to many more miles, and especially getting it broken in. I love that v-tech motor. Mine is an '07 and I could not pass it up as well as I've wanted one ever since they first came out in the mid 80's. Enjoy!
