    i agree with you - i guess 240 km/h is realistik. i guess 260 can´t be true.
but see in my first post - is not so important for me, i try 2 or 3 time a year at the autobahn / highway / motorway this speed.

my motto : the way is the target
    i enjoy riding on the landstraße at 100 - 120 KM/h

I can tell you with 100% certainty that my 07 VFR will do 158mph with my 235 lbs on it and lightly loaded saddlebags. That's all she had.

Thats pretty good, but I'd like to see it. A few nights back I pushed my 5th gen as far as it would go(just short of the red)and hit 144 mph via the GPS. The speedo was near 160.

Did it this weekend on a deserted stretch of roadway out in the middle of nowhere. Had the throttle pegged wide open for some time. Dont know what the speedo error is on my stock 07, but it showed 158.

my 95 max is 157 on the speedo with my 230 pounds, or 145 on the speedo with a passenger

"She's fast enough for you old man..." "She'll make .5 past light speed. She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts, kid. I've made a lot of special modifications myself."

GPS indicated 114, wasn't trying though. At NJMP I'll make sure to have the GPS within view of my camera to see what I can top out at on the straights.

I think the speed error is about 5-6%, that´s the number I´ve got when I installed and calibrated my speedohealer.

Im a newbie to the VFR world. I previously had a 90' CBR 1000F. I live in Naples Italy and I have hit 145 and it got me really nervous at how fast it happened! It is amazing the technology difference from a 90' to a 06'!!!!!

I accidentally pushed 120 mph the other day after I got her running right and hurried off to school to show everyone how good she ran. Looked down after getting on the freeway and was like "OMG!!!" Didn't even feel like I was going that fast. Not something I really want to intentionally do again, though. Stupid hurts!!!
