The trails and such are great around here due to all the extra rain we have received. A lot of growth, but still a lot of fun... The shoulder gave me some trouble after jumping for a couple hours, but it was still a good time.

Awesome. My son and I are itching to get out this weekend for the first time this year. I've got an XR650R and he's got a CRF70. He started out on a CRF50 and will move to the CRF100 next year. I am an ex-motocrosser, but have switched to being more of a trail rider with the XR. By the way, I've only got 3 miles on the VFR so far this year - to the gas station and back!

yeah, I haven't been riding much on the VFR or the dirtbike. Not sure what I've been doing... Drinking lots of coffee and farting around on the interwebz I guess.

That's some serious air Reg! I've been throwing the idea around about getting a dirt bike but I'm afraid I'd blow out the forks the first time landed a jump with my fat :ass: on it. That Honda CRF 450 looks real nice though...

yeah, it was a blast. It was good to get some air again. It has been a long time since I felt comfortable jumping. I actually jumped quite a lot and felt good at the end of the day. The shoulder was sore and I noticed it more towards the end so I stopped before I hurt anything but definitely I think losing the weight helped me with riding.
