Oh Lord we beseech thee to tell us of our wise brother's rule so that we can make our miserable and unhappy lives more productive and fruitful. In your name and say hi to George and Erline when you see them at Burger King.

You hit on a good day. Ho-ho's today only, are two for one.

Battery tenders? Never could figure out exactly why anyone would have one that is solar powered. Now a combo Ipod, GPS, TeeVee tuned into Oprah, Bluetooth for ET to call "home or Wally's, an accurate gas guage and toaster along with the solar charging capability might be nice.

Any stock market tips on trailers to hold all this stuff for the rider who can't leave home without having 75% of his earthly posessions with him at all times.

Maybe some solar powered battery tender schlepper will explain.

    Amen.

Do you frequent one of those churches where people speak in tongues and fall on the floor? I think you've got it down pretty good.

That and for co-opting yet another thread. I figure if somebody doesn't step in some of these threads that should only be about two posts long they'll turn into what are close to Steven King novels in length. But... for the dude having the problem and about to send his VFR into eternity with a Desert Eagle with Uranium tip ammo, it would really be better IMO to snag some wrench at the local dealership at lunch or after work, slip the guy a twenty and find out how to take the plastic off the bike without fucking it up.

I can only assume this thread is a Joke. Cause it is just an oil change! It takes about 1hr with a filter and that is with getting the faring off and on. It is in no way worth having the dealer do it and charge you $70 for the crapiest materials they can use. The plastic clips are not rocket science. They even have a HOW TO in the owners manual. You know that little book that comes under the seat of EVERY NEW BIKE. I don't think they warrant a how to video cause if you wont read the manual you wont watch the video either.

    Deleted as being stupid.

Re-edit: Gen 3 is way worse then Gen 5 re fairings. That's for starters. Next: There's way worse stuff than removing fairings and dealing with those bullshit pins. Maybe this thread should morph in that direction . . .

Now that the clip problem is settled, an ever larger issue confronts us. Krispy has a toe fungus. Please fellas, no amputation jokes.

what plastic clips are you guys talking about? On my VFR the only thing that holds the fairngs on is screws. I never have seen any plastic clips on my fairings as I bought it used.
