well not that I have to explain anything but, its hard to have three people on a motorcycle...for that far of a distance.......so putting it on a trailer it was the best idea. Comfort wise..

:pop2: dammit, I totally missed BB trying to pick a fight, or cracking a joke, or whatever it was. Sorry I let ya down billy, it was only 'cuz I missed the invitation. Was kind of getting bored around here too without the feuding :tongue2: Catch you next time maybe? :vader:

Congrats on the new bike tmausti. I once went to the chrysler dealer for a new turnsignal cover and left with a new truck.

Serious curiosity here; billy didn't you say the 1200 wasn't available in the US yet and they had to be ordered?

I'll come right out & ask it:

How much did you pay for the bike?

I don't want to know what the difference was after trades, what was the actual agreed upon price between sales dude & purchaser?

Considering the MSRP is a good deal more than the 6th Gen was, I think this is a fair question.

    KC-10 FE out...

Just think of all the stuff you missed. I suppose I should start doing what they do in the supermarkets with the produce and label everything so folks can tell the fruits from each other.

    Maybe:

*** JOKE*** Read twice then go ho-ho.
*** SATIRE*** Read three times then consult with wife, kids or trusted friend to get explanation if still not clear.

Find exactly what I posted and post that. Othewise it sounds like you are fishing or trying to move a used car with the odometer rolled back to zero. Better yet, maybe a good read on how vehicle dealerships work at various levels and condense it for all to see.

All this other talk aside, are those red letters you use sort of like the colored handkechiefs that some of you dudes use to signal each other. Sort of a gay semaphore thing?

No fishing, not going for a gotcha or anything, just asking a serious question. Is it available in the US now? I thought I read last week where you said it wasn't. If you can't/wont provide an answer, no worries, I need to run up to mother Honda and get parts for the new project so I suppose I'll see if they have one on their floor yet or not.

What you thought you read may not be what I or anyone said but merely your interpretation of what was said or worse even, what you hope to convince others what was said. One of the amazing parts of the net is that if one states something not modified or sent to file X by the demigods of moderation, ( A mythical group found just outside Washinghton DC) the statement sort of floats out there in cyberspace.

Mine ain't here yet. When it gets here, I will catch a ride to the dealer, let the friendly sales dude try to load me up with all sorts of shit I never wanted allowing him about two minutes, have him start the paperwork, inform him that if he even hints that he needs to "see" the sales manager, he looses the sale, write another check, Peek in the tank to see if I have enough gas to get me back home and I will, let you know ASAP what is going on. The only thing that potentially stands in the way, is if I have to take a dump. This IMO, is a priority superceeding many others.

In that your mom has a Honda dealership, wouldn't she know?

Did you dudes compare gas tanks or who got the best mileage/gallon? Can I expect you to be on a new 1200 when you visit me this Summer? Whoops! You deleted that PM possibly thinking I might perceive "visit" as just some nutcase BS. Not at all.l I figured it was just the time of the month.

I have no inerest in the 1200 other then just try'n it out and look forward to riding his DCT model when it comes in. I take it you are waiting for the DCT model as well.
I did not delete my message.
I don"t really care about the tank size, as I only run a half a tank in my bike when running a fast pace on my fav roads, but the owner was quoted as saying " passes everything but a gas station"

Last I looked it was gone. Maybe the mods ate your homework then decided you were just on the rag. Anyway come on out. I can hook you up with a couple of Yankee boys who have found thier way here and stayed. They are sort of lonely it took about six months for them to go through all they knew and now nobody talks to them.

Not clear on who this owner is. The owner of the dealership who I would surmise has ridden several years of various bikes or an owner of a 1200 that is going to buy a second bike?

I figure for you fast dudes who don't worry about tank size might not say that if your tank held say two gallons. So is it the weight of the gas, the price or do you just get off on that sloshing around sound when you are wearing down both elbow pucks?

the owner is not a dealer, and has more money then he knows what to do with.
His motto is how do I know if I like it untill I ride it, so he got both models, Im sure they will fit right in with is extensive car collection.
hope you got the DCT billy I think that will turn out to be the better of the 2.

Well dang, ya caught me. I am in fact using my text color as a "signal" it says that I like red. Red bikes, redhead women, the blood pouring from some dumbass' nose after someone pops them in the face for runnin their mouth too much. I just generally like red, thanks for askin'!!

Is this a lifelong thing or just something recent? There has to be more that just that tidbit. What does it cost you to have somebody pop some guy in the hooter? Do you pay anyone to smack women around or it that something you do yourself?

You probably know this already but you can keep your red and make big letters too. That would really be scary. To be really terrifying you could also use the Bondini Bold typeface.

Great!! Hob-nobbing with the fast crowd on the roads and socially. Thats good. Usually those rich guys mottoes are in Latin and have little to do with motorcycles. There is one that I think was made up by a local guy here. He's not rich but pretty creative. "Cogito Ergo Zoom"

Gotta tell ya, no auto trannys for this guy. Honda had them on some 750 4's. Mechanically and technically sound for that era of iron. I like to be master of my own gearbox. As one of those dudes who is of that rabbit warren mentality found on the East Coast you will catch my drift instantly. Let us know when this dude calls you.

Haven't "got" yet. You sure have problems with verb tenses. Is English your native language? If so, it needs work. Basic shit my man, Past-Present-Future. If you do not control the verbs they will control you. You can quote me on that.

I still don't think you know how dealerships operate especially in large metro areas. The dealers here on the left coast are possibly waiting for the bikes to clear customs. Seattle is a Port, Tacoma is a port, Portland is a Port. Seattle has a Honda dock with nothing but Honda Products. It is even separate from the Honda Auto dock.

Sorry, gotta run. There be sum wild injuns circling the ol wagon train lookin to scalp the dudes and eat the churrins out here in the Wild West. We sold the wimmin folk to some guys in Arizona so not to worry.

please forgive me billy, I am at work and just wanted to post a quick message. Sorry to hear you did not order the DCT, I will not waste my time giving you my opinion on the standard.
Maybe you should take a ride to Texas dealers have the new VFR sitting on the show room floor now.
