Picked up my VFR1200 yesterday 4-2-10. Road 60 miles, wow what a nice smooth ride. Don't judge it till you ride it. The rush of high speed acceleration could be hard on my drivers license. Lots of grunt and it really pulls. More riding this morning.

I can't wait to hear more of your first impressions. I'd like to see some pictures too. How different is it from your '07?

    Congratulations.
Hopefully this model won't die on the vine and Honda will put in a little more effort on it.

Unfortunately im having major computer issues but i will try to post some pics. I road out in rush hour traffic Friday from long island to northern westchester and back of Saturday morning 140 miles. I know its not rr spec on the brakes but wow. I need some more time on the back roads. It feels a lot like the 07 with mad hp the motor feels alive from 3500 the roll on is instantaneous.

The only way to truly determine whether the bike is worth keeping is to get an impartial second opinion from someone who is not the owner. I promise to give you a fair and accurate ride report so where would you like to meet? LOL!!

Using my special telephathic mind powers I was able to determine that his bike is either Candy Red or Metallic Silver.

Its red i didn't want my ati graphics card to give up the ghost but there you have it. No pics till i get it sorted out.Put on another hundred miles today not enough but Easter dinner got in the way. Feels roomier than the 07 and has a bit more of an aggressive riding position. It needs a taller tank pad because it begs you to lay down over the tank.

Wow another one, guess the economy ain't so in the toilet after all, Nice yes be good to see how this one stackes up to your 07 that and hows that driveline snatch? compared to the chain. still nothing like the smell of a new bike. I hear you need to keep an eye on the fuel gauge too.

I think they are cool bikes except for the fugly exhaust, but that can be fixed. :)

So now i have 834 mile on my 1200 and changed the oi over the weekend. I'm commuting with it in New York and the bike is up to it. hit nasty pot holes at 5am on the way in, went way to fast a couple of times, the bikes awesome and it handles very well.
