I think you actually have to change out the gauges, but I'm not positive. I'd probably just learn to use metrics. They are better/easier anyway...

That must be a Canadian Bike from what you report. There is no switch you can throw to fix this, you need a cluster from the US.

There is a company/guy on ebay that creats overlays for various bikes that change the display. I happened to come across it last week. I'll see if I can find the link. He also stated, as I recall, that he will one-off one on request. I'll post what I find.

Speedo-overlay... Check out E-bay item number 8026009452 Here's what he says... "Speedo overlay to fit a Honda VFR800. This fits over your original KMH speedo to show MPH. It simply sticks onto the glass."

Mine was bought in Japan and I am having the same problems. I am tired of the little stickers I have on there now to show MPH. Anyone find any other deals other than two above?

    KPH/MPH stuff

I know this does not help anyone right NOW but......I will be importing two 5Th gens back to New Zealand in May/June 2007 and would be happy to exchange your KPH cluster for my MPH cluster. The only cost to either of us is the (minimal) shipping.

My email is :- sshards at paradise dot net dot nz

Let me know if you are interested.
