Well, when I pick a 120/70/17 and a 180/55/17 and ship to U.S. address is comes to $196.98. Maybe shipping north of the border costs more? The first price I saw was the added amount to the base price. Sorry for the confusion. Personally I put Conti Road Attacks on mine.

After you put a few miles, err, clicks on them post up a review and let us know how you like them! I'm all about saving some bucks if they really are the cat's meow. Supposed to be long wearing...

I have a set of the 009's on right now. They are great tires for mile crunching. I have 6k miles on mine with about 50% tread left. However, they are much more of a sport-TOUR tire, rather than SPORT-tour. They have a very flat profile compared to other tires, which helps with stability on the slab, but hinders cornering ability. They do grip nicely for what you can do in the twisties. I can't wait to get mine off since i'm tired of the limited handling ability. I have my eyes on the 006 podiums as they look to have a much rounder profile.

Yeah, Rat also reviewed the 006 Podiums and had good things to say about them as well. Seems like it would be great to have two sets of wheels with grippy and long wearing mounted on each...

Sorry man... I'm a little late on this one but here is my 1/2 cents. I picked up a set of Conti Motion tires in June from Motosport.com for $195.00 cdn to my door - that was a $30.00 flat rate duty, taxes, delivery from the US to Canada. Price = 10/10
They look better in person then pictured so that was good. They look awesome on a VFR but then again...what doesn't. Appearance = 9/10
After about a 150KM scrubbin, I slowly dialed up the speed in the corners and these tires handle great. Lots of traction and a smooth ride all for under $200.00 bucks. My old rubber was crapola so with nothing good to compare to ( I'm sure there is better out there for a price ) I'm extremely pleased with these tires. They handle what I dish out. Handling 10/?
I guess I'm trying to say... I love these tires and would recommend them as a quality - price sensible set.
