ebay red VFR stands

somewhere I posted (cant find the thread) that the red VFR stands on ebay arent all that and mentioned that they are poorly made and the bike (my bike anyway) lists to the right on the stand. I was in the barn doing another project and took a picture... buyer beware! Would recommend pitbill or trex but these are crap

Center Stand and Problem Solved!

On a side note, Fly-n-Cycle is a good group of guys. If you were to contact them they would defiantly want to hear about the issue so they can correct it. Both with you and with the manufacture since they outsource most of that stuff.

 

i hear ya, and they are good guys... I bought this stand 3 years ago and only use it every now and again. not worth even asking, but wanted to "heads up" everyone contemplating a stand

 

btw: the pic I posted had the bike on a set of pitbull front stands. with the rear stand only the lean would be DOUBLE that shown

 

I've never had a bike with a center stand till now, and now I'll never have a bike without one!

 

Holy shit man, I'd be scared to leave it up there long enough to take a pic WITH the front stand

it's not that bad, with the front stand on, pretty stable. just wanted to warn you guys

 

Why not have beams on both sides. Align with holes. Insert poles. Level stand now.
