New to the site. Just picked up a project 83 Interceptor

    OK I finaly got a 83 interceptor... of course it is 27 years after I first wanted it..in 82 I bought a brand new Yamaha SECA 750, 6 months later the VFR came out and changed the racing landscape and bikes as we know them... I wanted one but never pulled the trigger.
    I picked up a project bike tonight. I will post pics one it is off the truck tomorrow. It is going to need a bit of work so it will kill two birds with one stone. I wanted a VFR and I wanted a project.

    The ratio of "projects "to rideable bikes is about 50: 1

    If you really want to ride, find a newer bike.

    I know what you mean, this one wont be ready for awhile. I have a 98 BMW R 1100 GS that I ride.
