So I just made it to the side of the highway, with the back end of my bike swinging back and forth. The cause: a bloody great (1-2cm) hole in my rear Metzeler Z6. These tires were about 8,000 kms into its life, so it was time to replace them.

Needing to get going, I was limited to the tires that were on hand, and went for the Michelin PR2s, and they seem to tip into corners so quickly it feels scary!

    Is that normal?

I haven't had Z6 but it would be normal if they were Pilot Powers as they have a triangular profile, the PR2 is more rounded so linear when tipping in. I've decided to go back to a Powers Front ( or new Pure ) but keep the R2 Rear as I like the faster turn in.
