Getting a feel for a Poconos ride.

I'm most likely in. Hopefully there will be rides before then though. Last pocono ride i went on was a blast, though I wish I hadn't been on brand new tires.

 

Oh, there will definitely be others. I think PoconoVFR is just pointing this particular ride out ahead of time so that we can plan accordingly, as well as get enough people together for some paint ball scrimmages. Dino's gonna be surprised when I break out my A1 Gothic on him, though.

 

since our last ride I added a factory pro shift kit, PCIII, and gutted exhaust....and I haven't really gotten to try any of it since the weather sucks.....thankfully I ride my KLR every day or I'd be going crazy

 

Since our last ride, I added a newish windscreen that I can actually see through (thanks pjm), replaced the stuck open thermostat, and possibly bricked the ECM while trying to hook everything back up :doh:

Apparently the keyword there was "trying" to hook everything back up. The secondary air solenoid and IAT sensor connectors are the same. The bike works better when you plug them into the appropriate port. :doh:

I'll probably be worse than before since I haven't been riding my VFR at all. Maybe I'll just ride my KLR on the ride....as long as we don't go over 75 haha.

Oh and I thought I hung on there pretty good.....sorta...i did have BRAND NEW tires on.

 

lol it was about the first time I ever really rode the VFR. The rest was just around the block here and there.
