New member from Belgium

Hello, I'm DJ from Belgium,

I'm new here and I'm also new to the honda VFR. I still haven't driven a VFR but my new VFR1200F will be delivered this week... I hope that it will be delivered because normally it had to be delivered in the past week :frown:

Professionally I drive an other bike, a Yamaha FJR police bike of the Belgian Police but I'm a fanatic Honda driver. I had a transalp and a CBF1000A for several years.

We're MOTORcops so we are nice to every biker, I always greet them. Most of the time they're surprised to see a motorcop that greets them but they always greet back ;-)

 

In the last week we have had a German, a Fin, and now a Belgian. Are these all new VFR1200 sales? Is the 1200 a sales hit on the Continent? The price is a little scary here in the States.

Are moto-police in Belgium primarily responsible for traffic enforcement? There are a couple more LEOs (Law Enforcement Officers) on this site. It would be interesting to hear another countries perspective. Welcome to the site and please post if you see anything interesting.

 

Here in Belgium the motorcops are mostly responsible for traffic enforcement. But there are some cities were they also partly work on law enforcement.

 

This sucks... my red VFR 1200 had to be delivered in week 8... then they told me it was delayed to week 9.... then it was again delayed to week 10... and tomorrow is the last possibility to deliver it this week (they don't deliver in the weekends) I really hope it will not be delayed again... I want to drive it finally... I have ordered this bike on december 24 without seeing it in real life and centainly without driving it... so I'm very curious and centainly very anxious to drive it...

 

Yeehaaaaaa... my red VFR is in the store... the dealer is installing the options ;-) It will be ready on monday... pictures will follow soon ;-)
