I have EXO-400 for two years. Nice helmet with good airflow in hot Florida sommers. It was too snug in the face and I removed some padding, very easy to do.
I like those to "eval" vents on the forehead, but I need someone opinion if they worked and flow some air true.
I also have Shoei TZ-R. It is liter then EXO, but has less vents on the back to flow hot air out. Other thing it is almost impossible to fog EXO contrary to Shoei. Breath guard works to fix that on TZ-R, EXO does not need any to stay fog free.
If EXO-700 flows more air true I woud go for it in asecond, b/c Dark Smoke would be interchangeble between 400 and 700.
Guys with EXO 700 may give us more info on that deal.

I sport a TZ-R and like it. It's real quiet and in the winter it stays warmer because of the lack of rear vents. I need a summer lid with rear vents so for me it's between the Scorpion 700 and the Shoei 1000 and I have not seen a Shoei anywhere near this price.

I've been running an EXO 700 for sevral years now. Got the red rivet first, had to turn it in for warranty due to a face shield gasket tear. They compensated me for the helmet and were going to do a strait trade for a different pattern 700 as they no longer make the red rivet. I paid a small upcharge to get the 700 with the pattern I wanted and I am very happy with the new design of the EXO 700 as well. No, they aren't as light as some other makes, but at 1/3 the price it's not a big deal to me. I've never owned a super high quality light lid anyway so I don't really know any different. I originally bought the 700 over the 400 due to the fact that not only does the 700 have more external venting capability but the liner has holes in the top to increase airflow as well. The interchangeable shields work great and the interior fog resistant coating works exceptionally (so long as you follow instruction and don't use any chemicals to clean the inside of the shield). I ride year round and use the aero skirt and the breath box in mine for colder times, they both work great. I got the snow skirt for mine too but haven't really gotten a chance to install it since we actually got lots of snow this year instead of just bitter ass cold like usual. If I wrecked again tomorrow I'd go get another 700 with out a second thought. Ok, rambling now, if anyone has any other specific questions I didn't answer please ask away.

Love mine. Spend the extra cash on the Aeroskirt though...it goes a long way towards noise reduction. I have been considering something with an internal visor...it's annoying switching visors for night/day riding. Not that it's hard...just annoying.

    I got EXO 700.
My 2 centavos after first ride.
EXO 700 flows more air then any helmet I have - EXO 400, Shoie TZ-R and the old one 400.
Comes with the price - more wind noise in up right position.
Very snag and I intend to remove some chik padding, like I did in EXO 400 to take presure of my mouth.
EXO 700 and EXO 400 use the same shield and I do not have to buy new smoked one.
When it comes to noise from most quite to not so Shoei is #1, EXO 400 end EXO700 I always use ear protection.
When it comes to EXO NO FOGGING of any kind I did my best but was not able to get it fogged.
Shoie need to be used with mouth guard and skirt to get the same resoult and it still fogged a little.

I ordered one of these as my passenger Helmet. I used my US PO box and added a chin curtain and smoked visor to get the free shipping. Even with the $20 tax at the border it was still over $100 less than the local dealer was asking for just the helmet.

Wanted to let you know about the Scorpion EXO-1000. It has the internal flip down smoke visor. I like mine for certain times when I don't feel like carrying an extra shield and I'm planning on a day/night ride. I think it is still the only DOT/Snell approved lid with a retractable visor. There is a price though...it's heavier and phyically a huge lid even in the Medium I wear. Excellent venting and fog-free.
