The weather up here has been super nice the last few days. Of course I only had a few minutes a day to buzz about town. I took the opportunity to change a couple hoses and give her a little TLC.
I have the weekend off but of course the weather is threatening to shit.
    Oh well.

after all those warnings of rain and shit, it cleared off and is sunny as hell. I am pissed cause I wanted to go dirtbike riding but didn't load up and go camp... I could be tearing up the dirt right now... I'm not sure what I'm gonna do, maybe I'll do some street riding.

Reg. I will try to latch onto a pair of those Red Olympic Mittens for you for when it gets cold down there. You can snuggle with the wife up at the fire with a cup of hot Coa-coa. In the Coa-coa put 1/2 oz vodka,1/4 oz Grand Marnier. 1/4 oz Kaluhaand 1/4 oz bailies
    The official drink or Slo2010

That sounds great Randy I second the drink! I got to watch a bit of our local cops in pursuit of a endro this morning. He tried to go around the block a few times to shake them but his poor under powered bike backfiring and putting would be to his landing in handcuffs. How stupid.

Hell, I'm going to go up north early and ride the road down with Randy. I have "people" in Russian River. As for y'all's abuse of my trailer: you just wish you were me.

I hauled my bike on a trailer once. After all of the air inexplicably escaped from the back tire.

Why? You can still ride it like that. It just makes the curves feel all wiggly...

Wow, i can't believe it, but now i am thinking about doing this too!
I would for sure need to take the less scenic route, through Iowa and Nebraska, as Tinkerin suggested, in order to be back by June 4.
However, these dudes do seem pretty crazy...!?

Actually, from Ramsey MN (I'm from MN and make the drive back and forth more than I'd like)(maybe I said that earlier?) You could go across SD on I-90, thru the black hills, see Devil's Tower, shoot down US85 along the eastern edge of Wyoming, and intersect with I-80 west on to CA. If you skip Devil's Tower and go around the southern edge of the black hills, it doesn't add more than an hour to your route (compared to 35south/80west). Or cut thru the Black Hills, add 30min or so if you don't stop to sight see, and cruise by Rushmore, Crazyhorse, and Wind Caves NP. Rondevous with US85 again and down to Cheyenne back on I-80.

It adds more to the other guy's route because I-90 where he gets on actually runs northwest for a ways. Look for US Highway 85 on the east edge of Wyoming. Mapquest/Googlemaps won't usually route you on a state highway but it's a good route 65mph posted speed limit.
