This is my first Street Bike (Sport Tourer) and had been riding HD. I have only had a chance to put 700 miles on her because I didn't bring her home until the end of November. I am going to name her "DONTKILLME"

my wife picked the name in away. the story starts out at a mvd in az, to be exact, out side in the parking lot , there i was trading my 2005 chevy silverado with 87,000 mi for a 07 vfr with 1,800mi. I walk inside to wait for other guy to show up when ,damn I was to excited about getting a bike I forgot the title in the truck, so I went back out there only to realize I also forgot the key(s) on the seat , yes the spare and main key, i had it on a small crappy clip on key chain, witch it fell off of. I was in to much of a hurry to find a hanger to pick the lock and for lack of options I was forced to call a lock smith.

Now me, this guy and my wife are left waiting for him,we sit 40 mins to get a call saying" hey i just headed towards your location i am one exit away" (about 2 1/2mi) 30 mins and one call later " sorry there a traffic jam I will be there soon" 15 mins later he arrives at truck says it is a 35 dollar fee for him to show up plus labor .....ok... 3 mins later my keys are out and his the bill was $160 my mouth dropped open at the sight thats 125 in labor with a 35 show up fee .... so he billed me 125 for 3 mins of work that would mean he gets $2500 an hour before i could close my mouth, my wife opened hers and chewed him out. "what kind of bull shit is this wow you must think your time is pretty damn valuable we waited 1hr 25 mins for you when you said it would be less than ten ... let me talk to your manger." he said ok but, why it was so much is cuz it took him so much time to drive here "dumb ass thats what the 35 show up fee covers your gas and time to get here" ... so he called his manager and talked for 2 sec. and came back with a new bill 25 labor 35 ( show up fee) now thats ok not cheap but, he has to have his bread and butter to.

I got called a few names and received eval stairs for locking the keys in the truck the whole time we were at the mvd from my better half .( haha ) Finally titles were traded things were registered and keys were exchanged. as good as that key felt in my hand it did not last long it was snatched out to be fallowed by a lesson of always make sure you have your keys and make sure there deep in your pocket when you...... " no wait MR. I lock keys in cars, let me put a real key chain that will not fall off maybe that way you will not lose them ", it was a mickey mouse key chain that got left in the car from an earlier CA trip that month .....

.....so finally it was time to go ride I was just sitting there getting to know the controls and putting gear on, when... "I know you have a problem with keys but i think it goes in the ignition, so take mickey out of your pocket and get a move on it, I am hungry" to which i said "ok i was just getting to know MINI first" "MINI i thought it was a vfr...whats MINI have to do with any thing " ... " well lets see, mickey is what turns on MINI and makes her scream"....so right there it was named and where my three-sums began mickey, MINI and me.

I ended up leaving my wife that day.... she was in a ford focus in lunch hour traffic and i was on MINI riding her hard getting her to V-max.. aka revving her hard and long to get her to vetch all over the places. I beat my wife home by30 mins and some how manged not to start cooking a damn thing...opps...and as for me and MINI, We have the perfect relationship as long as i keep her feed and pampered, I can ride her as much as i want anytime, anyplace and she loves it as long as i stay on top.

hope i didn't waste to much of your time ..
