Getting back at your neighbor

Hey deepdish I respect your opinion but you're assuming a LOT. First off I don't think anyone on here is taking my side because of our shared interest in a motorcycle. I read things on this board all the time and think "wow this guys is an idiot and do not agree with him at all." Your general assumption just belittles the integrity of our fellow members.

I agree with you about the responsibilities of owning a dog but leases break, fences get scaled, doors get left open, things happen...point being sometimes dogs get away from responsible owners and owners are responsible for what happens when dogs get loose. I did the responsible thing. I took messures to ensure the dog will never be a problem again, I offered my neighbor medical attention and he refused. He said "No it's just a scatch and nothing to worry about" but then he had time to think about it and now he needs an ambulance and $30,000.00. And your assumption that I let my dog run wild is way off base.

And now my neighbor Bob. When we first bought this house we went out and met all our neighbors and they all said watch out for the guy right next door to you. So we went to Bob's house said hello, gave him our phone number and said "If we can ever help you with something or if we're too loud...anything please don't hesitate to call." Well we had friends over late and the cops show up. Since there is no noise ordinance there was nothing they could do but come on I gave that guy my number and he doesn't have the balls to call me...he has to call the cops. BS! I"m not saying I'm the perfect neighbor but I extended the olive branch and tried to have an open line of comunication but he refused. So as to your assumption that I didn't respond to him while he gave me "the what for" is completely wrong. I've tried talking to this guy. He's just an ass and I"m not going to let him get his way just because he's an ass.

As for this tread I'm just letting off some steam (guys do it all the time on here). I'm 30 years old with a professional career I'm not about to salt a guys yard or light flaming dogs of poo on his porch. But it sure is fun to day dream about!

Everyone is entitled to their and I respect yours...just try to base it on something other than assumptions next time. Or if you don't like the thread don't read it.

 

I've had this experience twice in the last year: Neighbours dog breaks in to my house, chews up a bunch of stuff and leaves the place a wreck. The dog was seen leaving the house by a friend of mine. Did I sue the guy next door for $30,000? Errr, No. Did I go over there and shoot his dog? Errr, No. Did I call the cops and try to get him cited? Err, No. I DID call him up and tell him that he needed to get his dog under control before something really bad happened(to the dog), and asked him to pay for the damages. Problem Solved. The guy Comicus is delaing with is a total prick. So fuck him, and his lawn, and his shitty feet, and his shitty attitude. Life IS too short.

 

Deepdish may have one of those unbeloved faggy new VFR's and that may be the reason he would do a Robin Hood on your pup. We had a similar problem here at the trailer park. This dude was making meth and his Chihuahua got hold of some. Jumped an 8' fence. Fortunately he didn't crap on anything. Prolly all bound up because of the meth. Never did catch the little sucker.

There are ways of revenge. Pet stores sell crickets for the feeding of reptiles. Buy a bunch that somehow end up in his yard. Put a bunch of sugar around his house. Ants to follow. Make sure you put it not by your house. Go "borrow" a bunch of for sale by owner signs and put in his front yard with his phone number on it. I would also counter-sue for friviouls lawsuit. Just plain annoy him with your bike. How loud is your exhaust?

Paint his side of the fence pink with purple polkadots. Just something god awful annoying. Perma kill in the yard. _NOTHING_ will grow for about 5 years.

Yes, it is your responsiability to keep your dog put, but they are wild animals, are smart and do get out.

I have had these problems if I were you I would think he was aggregating the dog, there some reason the dog wanted out of his collar. Next thing I would do is install a CCTV system with a DVR. You would not believe how people change.
