After being contacted by the Can-Am PR dudes they do indeed have a new model coming out, powered not by one a them furrin motors but a real Chevvy motor. The Colorado version will have a 100 gallon tank and a piss tube.

I have to go sit on one at the dealership... there's a place nearby that sells them they look really fun. Several people that have them have told me that they are a great ride.

I haven't been able to throw my leg over one and squeeze the handles yet. It doesn't lean right?

Found a rental place in CO that has them. $205/day

Having double A suspension on both front wheels I think we can safely assume it leans both right and left, unless that Colorado model has a solid front axle to compensate for that bigass gas tank.

Or I could just say, "Fuck off Billy, you're a dick."

Oh, I see you linked Wikipedia, I thought you only listened to "real" journalists?

Yep, you could say that especially if caught with your panties around your knees on this one.

I will admit you are quick on the trigger with those really clever responses and likely didn't even read the Wiki blurb. Who did you think posted the link?

I do so hope you are not suggesting that the real journalists are less credible that the BS you are running on. YIKES! I will submit that you are having this latest tantrum because you asked other questions expecting responses that would make you all warm and fuzzy inside, were corrected and now you are really pissed.

Kick back dude, Chill and take more time to think about what you are writing. I think maybe you think because there are a few folks on here that really have turnip truck dust on thier VFR Tshirts that everybody that reads your BS is the same. Jus taint so.

Then again, maybe a enema would do the trick.

the do lean, but not like you would think. You do have to lean otherwise you'll get thrown off. They lean, but it's like a car A arm suspension. The wheels lean in/out as well to maintain contact, not like a motorcycle.

So I'd guess it probably has a lot more sporty feel than a trike or a sidecar? One of these could be a great fit for my wife if I could convince her to get her license. She feels pretty vulnerable on 2 wheels. But she said if she felt more comfortable, she'd want a cruiser style ride. (Not that she's actually ridden anything but a dirtbike.)

Dude, you have more excuses for things than OJ and Johnny Cochran combined. Maybe you can share how you can speak for everyone. I'll even take your short version so you don't run out of gas.

I would like to ride one for the hell of it. I have zero interest in buying anything like this now - I think it weighs 1000 pounds and has a reverse gear! - but in 20 years I'll be 75. Crap! I might be scooting around the Old Folks' Home with a walker! Something like this might make a lot of sense then.

THIS, however, is waaaay too ugly for me! The way it steers looks interesting though . . . .

I can't say I am struck on them. I know a few have them so won't say anything derogatory about them like...they are ugly...Why not buy a truck,...or...only a pussie would buy one But then, before I bought my 06, and rode for the first time, I didn't think much about motorcycles either.

Tink and Billy. Are you guys secretly married or something?

    Randy,

I'd have to check to see if Washington, Oregon and Colorado have reciprocity in those matters. I do expect a proposal sometime soon.

I hate never-ending story. My kids drove me nuts with that stupid move, but, my wife and i are considering buying one of these monsters. We were looking at the touring model. Last summer I was hit by a drunk deer and ended up most of the summer in the hospital. Today I am just not real comfortable riding both of us around on our Goldwing. This thing seems to be more stable than two wheels so it my be in my future. having said that i still love to ride the VIFFEr, my WR250R, and my cafe racer, but the goldie may need to go bye-bye. wilburj

do NOT get one of these. How the front wheel turns like that. MotorWeek did a show about these and the Can-Am. The Piaggo, when you break, loks the front wheels in whatever position they are in. If you are going around a corner, say hello to the pavement.

I agree. Dump the wing. I'm a little confused about this never ending story thing. I thought it was Harry Potter and now it seems to be TinkeringWitStuff, Master of the Cosmos. ;)
